Yes, Dan. FBI investigations into anything are never a good sign, and when they have to do with college basketball, that’s a nightmare for all parties. Wolken is responding to various reports indicating that the FBI is investigating two members of the UTEP basketball program.
McKenzie Moore and Jalen Ragland are the two players in question with the report, and non-coincidentally, they were both suspended indefinitely earlier in the year for “violation of team rules”. It is borderline irresponsible to speculate on the exact nature of the investigation until it comes out, but this just happened:
