‘Bad Words’ New Trailer for Upcoming Jason Bateman Comedy (Video)

Focus Features has released a new trailer for their upcoming film Bad Words.

The film stars Arrested Development star Jason Bateman as Guy Trilby, a 40 year-old man who has found a loophole in the rules of The Golden Quill national spelling bee. He decides to use this information to hijack the competition, causing all sorts of trouble along the way.

In the new trailer, we find Trilby as he qualifies for the final round and makes his way to the final competition. O the plane ride, he meets a young man by the name of Chaitainya, who is played in the film by Rohan Chand.

As you can tell from the trailer, Trilby shows very little interest in making friends.

“If you don’t point that curry hole that way and sit you a** down in that seat, I’m going to tell the captain that your back is ticking.” He tells Chaitainya.

As a reporter, played by The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’s Kathryn Hahn, begins to uncover his real motivation, Trilby find himself in a bit of an unlikely friendship with Chaitainya.

The film will mark the motion picture directorial debut for Jason Bateman.

The tagline of the film is “Sometimes the end justified the mean.” If there is one thing for sure, he is most definitely mean. Of course, you can see that for yourself.

Here is a look at the newest trailer for the upcoming film Bad Words.

The film also stars Allison Janney, Rachel Harris, Ben Falcone, Judith Hoag, and more.

Bad Words is scheduled to be released on March 28, 2014.
