Florida State Seminoles wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin finished the BCS National Championship game as the team’s hero, after pulling down the game-winning touchdown over Auburn cornerback Chris Davis in the final seconds of the game.

Now that Benjamin has had some time to digest his big play, he will be turning his focus towards his decision on whether or not to enter for the 2014 NFL Draft.

Benjamin, who is already 23 years old, will need to make his decision before the Jan. 15 deadline to declare and it appears that he is “leaning towards” making the jump to the pros.

From Rand Getlin of Yahoo! Sports:

If Benjamin were to declare, he would likely be a borderline first-round pick.

While he has game-breaking ability and has the talent that you want in a potential No. 1 wide receiver, his history of drops could be enough to turn some teams off and cause them to hold off on selecting him within the first 32 picks.
