The UFC has successfully integrated new cameras and new angles over the last year. One camera that garners a lot of attention is the UFC’s super slo-mo cam, the X-cam. After their big events, the UFC has been producing short video highlights using the X-cam, and the results are fantastic. The latest event to get the slo-mo treatment is UFC 168.
In the video above, check out all of the slo-mo highlights from the UFC’s biggest event of 2013. The main event of the evening was the Middleweight championship rematch between longtime champion, Anderson Silva, and the only man to beat him inside the Octagon, Chris Weidman. Unfortunately, the fight ended with a horrendous injury to Silva’s leg, and Chris Weidman retained the belt.
The co-main event was the Women’s Bantamweight championship bout featuring TUF 18 coaches, Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate. The two bitter rivals fought in an epic match that ultimately saw Rousey latch on her infamous armbar in the third round, and retain her title.
The entire card was stacked from top to bottom, and there are highlights a plenty. From Uriah Hall’s flying knee, to Michael Johnson’s KO, to Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate slugging it out, there is something for everybody in the slo-mo highlights.
