The Dallas Mavericks are taking on their Lone Star State rivals, the San Antonio Spurs. Unfortunately for the Mavericks things aren’t exactly going their way. At the end of the third quarter they were trailing by 20 points, 82-62.
It could’ve been 82-59 had it not been for this last minute one-legged jumper from way behind the arc from Vince Carter. He is having a big game, and threw done a big dunk earlier in the game.
The Mavericks were trailing only by seven at the half, but the Spurs put up 37 points in the third quarter to really pull away.
Carter finished the night with 14 points in 23 minutes. He also had a rebound and three assists.
