Longview defensive tackle Zay-Coven Henderson is a four-star recruit and was committed to the Texas Longhorns. After speaking to new head coach Charlie Strong, Henderson decommitted and announced on Twitter that he was going to Texas A&M instead.

It is an interesting and surprise reversal cause about an hour before that tweet, Longview head coach John King seemed to reaffirm that Henderson was going to Texas.
“He’s going to Texas,” King told ESPN.com. “He said he had a good conversation with Coach Strong and he’s committed to Texas.”
“We had a long talk about it. He was a little bit torn, but I just told him Texas is the best place for him and to stick with it. He will.”
This isn’t the first time Henderson has flip-flopped. he was committed to TCU in February before backing out this past September.
