The coaching dominoes are falling in place now that Louisville has hired Bobby Petrino away from Western Kentucky where he went 8-4 in his lone season and today the Hilltoppers have hired Jeff Brohm as the head coach.
Can confirm Jeff Brohm will be named head coach at #WKU, replacing Bobby Petrino.

Brohm coached quarterbacks for one season under Petrino at Louisville and remained there when Petrino left for the Atlanta Falcons and later the Arkansas Razorbacks as the team’s assistant head coach and passing game coordinator and offensive coordinator.
He later went to the University of Illinois where he coached quarterbacks from 2010-2011 before heading to UAB to coach quarterbacks and run the offense.
Brohm and Petrino reunited this past season as Western Kentucky where he was the assistant head coach/offensive coordinator.
This is Brohm’s first head coaching job after he began his coaching career in 2002 after a professional career that saw him play for six different NFL teams and even a one-year stint with the defunct XFL.
