When the Miami Heat take the floor at Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks Thursday night, they will have future Hall-of-Fame guard Dwayne Wade in the lineup, according to Ian Begley of ESPN New York.

Wade did not participate in shootaround for the Heat on Thursday. That usually means the player is not going to play that night. The Heat, however, never ruled Wade out and instead listed him as a game-time decision.

The Heat have obviously tried to limit Wade’s minutes in attempt to keep him healthy for the postseason as they tried to win their fourth straight Eastern Conference Championship and their third straight NBA World Championship.

Wade has played in the Heat’s last six games and has played at least 34 minutes in each of their last four games. He last missed a game in a 108-103 loss to the Sacramento Kings back on December 27.

On the season, Wade has played in 27 of the Heat’s 35 games. He’s averaging 19.5 points, 4.9 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game.

The Heat and Knicks will tip at 8:00 pm EST and the game is on TNT.
