NBA Rumors: Denver Nuggets may wait to trade Andre Miller?

Will they or won’t they? That’s been the sentiment regarding the potential trade of Denver Nuggets point guard, Andre Miller.

When news broke of Miller’s outburst at head coach Brian Shaw, quickly thereafter rumors broke that the Nuggets were ready to move on from the veteran point guard. That lead to a multitude of teams reportedly expressing interest in acquiring the 37-year-old.

Some reports hinted the Nuggets were doing everything they could to trade Miller, hoping to get a deal done in the next 24-48 hours. That time frame has passed however and Hoopsworld’s Alex Kennedy suggests the Nuggets may wait until closer to the NBA’s upcoming trade deadline to make a move:

Source confirms that the Nuggets have shopped Andre Miller. However, rival executives say Denver may keep Miller until closer to deadline.

Point guard is often one of the most desired positions come the trade market and if teams are already clamoring to obtain Miller, it’s likely Denver could stretch things out and hopefully get a bidding war on their hands moving forward.
