Outkast to Reunite for Coachella 2014

Spectacular news has come across for fans of the group Outkast! The full lineup has been released for the upcoming Coachella 2014, and it seems that the award winning group duo Outkast will be reuniting for the festivities.

The hip hop duo, consisting of Andre 3000 and Big Boi, have been on hiatus since releasing their last album Idlewild in 2006.

Over the years, the duo has released plenty of hit singles like “Ms. Jackson,” “Rosa Parks,” and the ever popular, and wildly catchy, “Hey Ya!’.

They’ve also got plenty of awards in their arsenal as well. They’ve won a total of 6 Grammy Awards including Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group for “Ms. Jackson” and “The Whole World”, Best Rap Album for “Stankonia” and “Speakerboxxx/The Love Below”, Best Urban/Alternative Performance for “Hey Ya!”, and Album of the Year for “Speakerboxxx/The Love Below”.

Outkast will be headlining the Friday shows over two weekends; Friday, April 11th and 18th.

They will be joined a number of top artists in the industry right now. They’ll be playing along with bands like Broken Bells, Zedd, Chromeo, HAIM (who was just recently featured on Saturday Night Live), and AFI, a well as artists like Ellie Goulding, Neko Case, Bryan Ferry, and more.

Coachella is always one of the most interesting events of the year. Fans come from far and wide, and can see such a wide range of artists; everything from rap and hip hop to dance and rock and roll. While you may not normally listen to artists like Skrillex, Queens of the Stone Age, Lorde, or even Outkast, but this festival gives you the opportunity to expand your horizons and discover new things.
