Report: Miami Marlins team president David Samson on upcoming season of Survivor

WPLG Local 10 News in Miami is reporting Miami Marlins team president David Samson will be on the upcoming season of Surivor.  According to the report, CBS announced the show was filmed in the Philippines last summer, and it will debut in February.  The contestants have not been officially introduced by CBS.

The Miami Marlins finished last in the National League East in 2013 with a record of 62-100.  Houston was the only team in the Majors to have a worse record than the Marlins.  I’m sure Marlins fans will not be happy to hear their team president was a contestant on Survivor as the Marlins’ season was going down the tubes.

Is Survivor any good these days?  I watched about four seasons when the show first started, and must be reminded CBS is still airing new seasons.

As a whole, reality TV is awesome.  The Amazing Race was a nice twist on Survivor, and jumping to the Kardashians and Jersey Shore kept my interest for a few seasons.  Also, Storage Wars and Pawn Stars are both great.

What is your favorite Reality TV show?
