Florida State WR Kelvin Benjamin declaring for the NFL Draft per report

According to a report from Tom D’Angelo, who covers Florida State football for the Palm Beach Post, Seminoles wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin is going to declare for the 2014 NFL Draft.  Benjamin is a a huge player, listed at 6’5″ 234lbs as a redshirt sophomore that was able to catch 54 passes for 1,011 yards for 15 touchdowns this season.  Benjamin was also on the other end of the Jameis Winston touchdown pass that clinched the National Championship for the Seminoles over Auburn.

Physically impressive with sky high potential, Benjamin is still working to be a polished receiver.  Nevertheless, those type of measurables combined with what could be impressive workouts could vault him to the early part of the draft.  Currently, the NFL Draft is set to break the record for most underclassmen for one year, but the sheer number of wide receivers that are underclassmen is incredible; Benjamin makes 19.  The deadline for players to be in or out is the 15th of January.
