San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt is a hot commodity in coaching searches this year. He met with the Detroit Lions on Thursday, the Tennessee Titans on Friday and will meet with the Cleveland Browns on Saturday.

All that before the Chargers head to Colorado to take on the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round of the AFC playoffs. It has raised some questions about whether he is focused on the task at hand. Chargers coach Mike McCoy said he had “complete confidence” that Whisenhunt was dialed in.

“The only thing that’s important to me, to be perfectly honest with you, is getting prepared for this game and that’s the work that has got my focus right now,” Whisenhunt said, via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. “Everything else is secondary.”

None of those places are necessarily appealing after living in beautiful San Diego.

“I’ve enjoyed living here,” he said.
