There are plenty of questions about the future of star forward Kevin Love and whether or not he will remain a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves after 2015, but there appears to be a growing belief that Love will leave town.

Not only is Love expected to leave the Timberwolves after his current contract is over, but he reportedly wants to suit up and play for the Los Angeles Lakers.

From Ken Berger of CBSSports.com:

“They should trade him,” one Eastern Conference executive said. “No one thinks he’s staying. Everyone knows he wants to go to the Lakers.”

Love played college basketball in Los Angeles, so there would be an obvious connection with the Lakers, but it is still simply too early to tell whether he will wear purple and gold in the future.

Only time will tell where Love will continue his career, but you would have to assume that he is leaning towards bolting town.
