Lane Kiffin is ready to resume his coaching career. According to recent reports, Lane Kiffin, who was fired as the head coach of the USC Trojans midway through the college football season, has agreed to join the Alabama Crimson Tide coach staff.

Kiffin will serve as the team’s offensive coordinator, per reports.

“Lane is a really good offensive coach, and I’ve always had a tremendous amount of respect for him,” Saban said prior to the team’s bowl game, via ESPN. “Just to come in and brainstorm a little bit to get some professional ideas with our guys is a really positive thing.”

While Kiffin has struggled as a head coach and received his fair share of well-deserved criticism, he has proven to be a valuable coordinator and should provide a boost to Nick Saban’s Alabama staff.
