If there’s one thing that LeBron James is amazingly good at, it’s creating plays out of absolutely nothing. He’s been doing it his whole career and he did it yet again in beautiful fashion against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night. Wearing the nickname jerseys, LeBron went up for a shot in the first quarter of the game but things drastically changed as soon as he left his feet.
The spoiler to the story is that despite not shooting the ball and passing it off, LeBron still scored less than five seconds later as he picked up the bucket despite the broken play. James passed the ball to Rashad Lewis who then fed the ball back to James who was driving to the basket for a layup.
It’s these kinds of plays that make LeBron so watchable, even if you can’t stand him. Not many people can do what he does and not many people can create the toe of shot that James created on Friday night.
