Miles Plumlee blocks shot off of backboard against Memphis Grizzlies (Video)

When your star rookie addition to the team gets posterized on a play by the opposing team, you tend to want to back your man up and get revenge. Too bad this play happened before Laex Len was posterized by Ed Davis, otherwise Miles Plumlee would have been a hero of sorts.

Instead, we see the precursor to Davis posterizing Len as it was really revenge for the Suns aggressively blocking a Grizzlies shot early on in the first half of Friday’s game.

Plumlee didn’t so much block the ball as he did beat it to death in the air, bouncing it off the backboard in the process of swatting it away from the bucket.

The Suns recovered possession of the ball following the block and Plumlee’s block denied the Grizzlies points. Memphis got their revenge on Len, which shows that every vicious block comes at the cost of retaliation via humiliation.
