It’s expected that free agent center Andrew Bynum will decide upon his new team either Friday or Saturday, which doesn’t leave the Los Angeles Clippers a lot of time to court the big man.
In recent days, reports have come out suggesting the Clippers weren’t interest in Bynum, but reportedly after wavering back and forth, Los Angeles has now decided they’d like to sign the former high school star:
Clippers have gone back and forth on Andrew Bynum, but word is Clippers have had more internal discussions about Bynum and are interested
Bynum, when healthy, has proven himself to be one of the premier big men in the game. Of course, staying healthy hasn’t been easy for the oft-injured talent and when combined with his questionable work ethic, you often get a recipe for disaster.
That said – Bynum will come extremely cheap for the remainder of the season and for a team with playoff aspirations, you’re not going to find a better available free agent.
The Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks are also said to be interested in Bynum.
