Vanderbilt HC James Franklin expected to get $4.5 million per year at Penn State

The courtship between Penn State and Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin is growing over the past week. Joe Schad of ESPN reported Thursday that Franklin would prefer to end up at Penn State.

Now there is a report that Penn State has offered to pay Franklin $4.5 million per year, more than what his predecessor Bill O’Brien was getting.
