Amare Stoudemire jams nasty putback dunk for Knicks (Video)

The New York Knicks have been struggling this season and a lot of frustration over the past few seasons has been directed at Amare Stoudemire and his absence from the team. But as Knicks fans know, when he shows up to play he plays hard and the team is much better for it.

That was the case on Saturday night in the Knicks game against the Philadelphia Sixers when he threw down a nasty putback jam off of a missed shot.

Since benching J.R. Smith this week, the Knicks have been on a roll and Stoudemire seems to be getting hot. The Knicks need him playing like the All-Star he used to be but hasn’t been for most of his Knicks career. However, if he keeps cleaning up shooting mistakes in the paint for New York, the Knicks are going to keep going places and redeeming their ugly start to the season.
