The Los Angeles Clippers beat their Staples Center roommates, the Los Angeles Lakers, in glorious fashion on Friday night. Blake Griffin scored 33 points as the Clippers beat the Lakers by 36 points, and Kobe Bryant, who is out with injury, couldn’t stand to watch.

He looked angry later in the game:

“They just killed us,” Lakers guard Nick Young said after the game, via ESPN.

“It was a painful loss and somewhat embarrassing as a player,” power forward Pau Gasol said.

The fans chanted “We want Kobe!” as the game was wrapping up, but it doesn’t look like he could do much to turn around the Lakers. The Lakers are also without point guard Steve Nash.

Head coach Mike D’Antoni said after the game that he hopes they’re ready when they return, via the Los Angeles Times:

"Speaking to reporters at the Lakers training facility in El Segundo, D’Antoni said the two stars would return “about the same time. Hopefully both of them are ready.”Bryant and Nash have each played six games this season."

In the mean time, D’Antoni has turned to drinking.
