Former Rutgers Scarlet Knights defensive coordinator Greg Cohen was in the middle of a bullying scandal before he was let go from the coaching staff as they made changes following the season, but now Cohen is once again being accused of abusing his power.
An anonymous Western Michigan Broncos player spoke out in an email to Rutgers athletics director Julie Hermann, where he shared his own negative experiences during his time under Cohen.
“I was once the target of Cohen at the University of Western Michigan where he was my dc before I too left the team due to the bullying I [received] from Cohen,” the email read, via MyCentralJersey.com. “Cohen made my time at Western Michigan the worst experience of my life. I could not believe a man like Cohen was in a position of power because he [completely] abuses his authority.”
Cohen has denied the allegations and now holds a job coaching the defensive line at Wake Forest.
Hopefully for the players that he will now be coaching, Cohen was being honest when he labeled the bullying allegations against him as untrue.
