For someone who was not happy with the dissolution of the old Big East Conference and hated the move to the Atlantic Coast Conference, Syracuse Orange head coach Jim Boeheim seems to be taking out that frustration by dominating to start the 2013-14 college basketball season.
With today’s win in the Carrier Dome over an ACC staple in the North Carolina Tar Heels, the Orange improved to 16-0 overall and have yet to lose a game in the conference.
But as we all know with Coach Boeheim, success does not always bring happiness from him, and he proved that yet again today in the post-game press conference following the huge win.
If anything was learned from that, it’s that you probably should not ever ask Boeheim about his rotation choices.
Nonetheless, this is what we expect from the long-time Syracuse coach, yet it really never gets old. Plus, it’s particularly better knowing that he is unhappy with the conference move to begin with.
I’m sure this won’t be the last time we get to see Boeheim go off on the media this season.
