The Louisville Cardinals are bringing Bobby Petrino back after Charlie Strong accepted the job with the Texas Longhorns. A 10-year-old Kentucky Wildcats fan is going to the Louisville Cardinals game against the SMU Mustangs today and decided to get really dressed up.

He is going dressed as Bobby Petrino, in a neckbrace with black eyes, and it is awesome. Check it out below:

Petrino is excited to come back though, of course it is a step up from Western Kentucky.

“It’s great to get the opportunity to come back here,” Petrino said during a news conference Thursday, via ESPN. “This is our home.”

Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich said Petrino is a changed person though, and that is why they’re bringing him back.

“If it was the same Bobby that was here 10 years [ago], I wasn’t interested,” said Jurich, adding that he kept coming back to Petrino as he went through a list of seven finalists. “He is definitely a changed person.”

I think we can expect a lot of Cardinals rivals to follow this 10-year-old’s lead.
