The Cleveland Browns have yet to announce their next head coach, but it looks like they have their eyes set on one candidate in particular. According to reports, Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase is the apple of the Browns eyes.

From Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network:

Unfortunately for Cleveland, they are unable to stay in contact with Gase, who has been preparing for the team’s divisional round match up with the New England Patriots.

If the Broncos continue to remain in the playoffs, then the Browns may not be able to afford continuing to wait.

They are running out of viable candidates, so I don’t see what choice they have but to wait!! They take second best again and we are back here next year, doing this all over again? Also this is a very important year for the Browns as they have the Cap space and all the draft picks to turn this franchise around!! You get the system wrong and draft for that system, you are back to square one next year, without the facility to start over . Then how many more years of suffering by the fan’s and the city???

How funny would it be if they do wait on Gase, and it’s after the Super Bowl, and he turns them down! This is all 1 big joke Browns fans get to endure year after year.
