Late night talk show host Jimmy Fallon and Mike & Molly‘s Melissa McCarthy just announced the award for Best Actor in a Mini-Series or TV Movie. And the award goes to…Michael Douglas for Behind the Candelabra.
Behind the Candelabra is based on the autobiographical novel, and details the tempestuous 6-year relationship between Liberace and his (much younger) lover, Scott Thorson. Douglas portrays the sequined musician himself.
While onstage accepting his award, Douglas quips to his co-star Matt Damon that the only reason he is there and not him is because he had more sequins.
Speaking of accepting his award, here is a look at Douglas onstage accepting his award.

Chiwetel Ejiofor – Dancing on the Edge
Idris Elba – Luther
Al Pacino – Phil Spector
