Golden Globes 2014: Elizabeth Moss Wins the Award for Best Actress in a Mini-Series or TV Movie (GIF)

Mark Ruffalo and Naomi Watts just announced the award for Best Actress in a Mini-Series or TV Movie. And the award goes to…Elisabeth Moss for Top of the Lake.

Many people, myself included, believed that Jessica Lange would run away with the award for her work in American Horror Story: Covenbut Moss was able to overcome.

Moss played Detective Robin Griffin, who is investigating an attempted suicide of a pregnant 12 year old named Tui. When Tui suddenly disappears, Griffin finds herself knee deep in small town secrets.

Here is a look at Moss onstage giving her acceptance speech.
