According to a report, Bobby Petrino is looking toward the SEC for a defensive coordinator, and he’s looking in the direction of current Georgia Bulldogs defensive coordinator, Todd Grantham.
A source tells @coachingsearch that UGA defensive coordinator Todd Grantham has been offered the DC job at Louisville.

While there have reportedly been a number of assistants across the country that have turned down the opportunity to work with the embattled Petrino, Grantham wanting to leave Athens might make a little bit of sense.
Injuries on the offensive side of the ball aside, Grantham was blamed for the majority of the team’s failures this season, a season in which many expected a national championship run.
Overall in total defense, the Bulldogs ranked 32nd in the country, giving up a total of 357.7 yards per game.
Life in the SEC has gotten a little tougher with the influx of more high-powered offenses, which we saw in Auburn’s run to the BCS National Championship Game, but that statistic is still enough to get Bulldogs fans in an uproar.
