The San Diego Chargers are looking to knock off the Denver Broncos for the second time this year, but this time it would mean a trip to the AFC Championship game.

Now before the Chargers started their playoff run, they got themselves in the headlines early by drafting someone who was the victim of an embarrassing scandal. Yes the Manti Te’o scandal is still talked about and I’m not sure when it will disappear.

Anyways, the kid is getting his second taste of the post season after helping the Chargers take apart the Cincinnati Bengals in the opening round. Although they beat them the first time, this Broncos team is usually harder to beat the second time around.

But I’m sure Te’o and the Chargers are up for the task. They currently trail 14-0 in Denver and may have a bit of a problem on their hands when it comes to the linebacker position. It’s a position that has struggled with injuries all year, but did enough to help them reach the post-season.

According to Ben Volin on Twitter, San Diego Chargers rookie linebacker Manti Te’o had to be helped off the field by two trainers after suffering an upper body injury. If he was able to walk off by himself, things would be looking great but since he needed help, that defense should be concerned.
