With 28 of the 32 NFL teams preparing for the offseason and beginning to look ahead at the 2014 NFL Draft, we will begin to see more and more mock drafts surfacing as everyone attempts to give their predictions on how everything could play out in May.
One of the most well-respected draft analysts in the country, Gil Brandt, has yet to release his first mock draft of the season, but he is preparing to do so and has already determined who the top pick will be.
For Brandt, it is none other than Texas A&M star quarterback Johnny Manziel that he will have the Houston Texans selecting.
Alex Marvez of FOX Sports passed along the news from Brandt’s radio appearance:

The Texans are expected to favor a better passer like UCF’s Blake Bortles, but Manziel’s versability and play making ability may be enough to give him the nod. We will have to wait and see.
