Julia Morales of CSN Houston said she caught up with Astros’ second baseman Jose Altuve at Minute Maid Park today as mini-camp begins today for many teams.

Altuve, who signed a four-year, $12.5 million extension with the club in July of 2013, was plagued with a quad injury for most of the second half last season. He hit .283/.316/.363 in 672 Plate Appearances, but more notably was thrown out 13 out of 48 times attempting to steal and created eleven outs on baserunning errors.
