Arizona running back Ka’Deem Carey is declaring for the NFL Draft according to multiple reports. The Wildcat running back was incredibly consistent this season. After missing the first game of the season due to a suspension related to an off field issue that teams will want to investigate, Carey had over 100 rushing yards in every game of the season with a low of 119 yards against Colorado in a blowout win where he had 4 touchdowns. In all, he totaled 1,885 yards rushing in addition to 173 receiving yards, giving him a total of 2,058 total yards and 20 total touchdowns on the year at an impressive 5.5 yards per play.
Cary was the focal point of the Arizona offense and was the engine that drove the Wildcats into a huge upset over the Oregon Ducks late in the season. He carried the football an astounding 48 times for 206 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns. Carey is entering an incredibly crowded underclassman field of running backs, but his versatility and athleticism could make him a valuable addition to an NFL team.
