The New York Knicks should just go ahead and change their name to the the New York Melos for the rest of their Monday night against the Phoenix Suns. Despite a pretty questionable bump and grind with P.J. Tucker, Melo has been carrying the Knicks on his own and has been showing off why so many teams love him when he’s firing on all cylinders.
We already saw Melo make a four point play all on his own when he rebounded a missed shot, drew a foul and nailed a three pointer. He topped that later in the game when he swatted down a shot with a huge block, saved it before the ball went out of bounds, made it back to the other end of the court and then finished things off with a deep three.
There was no foul on this particular three pointer, but it was still an incredible play nonetheless.
