The Baltimore Orioles’ First-Round Draft Pick Dylan Bundy is working out in mini-camp today and according to Mid-Atlantic Sports Network’s Roch Kubatko, is feeling just fine.

Bundy underwent Tommy John surgery on June 27th of 2013, and his anticipation of pitching in a competitive atmosphere on the 28th of this year is consistent with the approximate one-year recovery time common for the procedure.

The 21-year old made his Major League debut with Baltimore in 2012, pitching in 1.2IP over 2 games, allowing one walk, one hit, and no runs. He told Kubatko that he wishes he had done the surgery earlier than he did, but wanted to try a Platelet Rich Plasma injection and rehab before resorting to it.
