The Houston Rockets assembled a team that would have dominated if this were the middle of the 2011-12 season. With James Harden at shooting guard, Dwight Howard in the middle and Jeremy Lin leading it form the point, the Rockets would be true contenders.
They still remain contenders, even though the talent has dipped in the pool they’re swimming in, but when their big three players bring it, basketball in Houston is fun to watch.
Not all the plays are spectacular jams, as Jeremy Lin was on the receiving end of a pretty aggressive reach-in foul against the Boston Celtics.
Lin was trade bait in late 2013, and may still be as the deadline approaches, but as long as he can hold it together, there’s no real reason for the Rockets to ship him off. That can all change, but for now Lin is trying his best to not upset Rockets fans in Houston.
