San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt had a full slate of interviews ahead of their Divisional Round match up against the Denver Broncos. He met with the Detroit Lions on Thursday, the Tennessee Titans on Friday and will the Cleveland Browns on Saturday. There is some belief that all those interviews distracted Whisenhunt, but quarterback Philip Rivers thinks that idea is cool.

“I think that’s crazy, honestly. He was all in, all week,” Rivers said, via Tom Krasovic of U-T San Diego. “He handled it like a pro.”

Chargers coach Mike McCoy echoed what Rivers said and said that he had “complete confidence” that Whisenhunt was dialed in.

“The only thing that’s important to me, to be perfectly honest with you, is getting prepared for this game and that’s the work that has got my focus right now,” Whisenhunt said, via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. “Everything else is secondary.”
