AJ McCarron tweets a message to his haters and doubters

AJ McCarron made the decision to decline an invitation to the Senior Bowl which will be played in his hometown of Mobile, Al on Tuesday which elicited a number of strong reactions thinking the Maxwell Award winner and two-time national champion with the Alabama Crimson Tide made the wrong decision.

Fueled by the doubters and the hate that spewed across social media upon hearing of McCarron’s decision he took to Twitter to express himself with the following tweet.

McCarron’s been fueled by the doubters form his days in high school where he wasn’t viewed as an elite recruit despite a four-star rating and even when he took over for Greg McElroy at Alabama after winning a national title, the expectations for McCarron were initially low.

Some may view his declining to partake in the Senior Bowl as backing away from a challenge and he will have to answer to NFL teams at next month’s combine, but in the meantime he’s using Twitter as a means to express himself for those who continue to doubt him.
