Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant seems to have it all, so it wouldn’t come as much of a shock that a fellow NBA player would be jealous of his success.
But what if that player was LeBron James?
The NBA icon and Miami Heat star recently suggested he was jealous of Durant – suggesting he wishes he could shoot as much as the Thunder star:
“I do get jealous, I’m not gonna lie,” James said, via ESPN Insider Tom Haberstroh. “I get jealous sometimes when I look over at KD and he’s like 16-for-32 and then 14-for-34. … Man.”
Ironically enough, just yesterday Durant came out and suggested that he was shooting too much and that it was hurting his team.
For what it’s worth, James thinks he could easily average 40 points a game if he had the same type of offensive freedom as Durant:
“If you give me 37 shots in a game, I’d have 60…70,” James said earlier this season. “I had [almost] 40 now with 18 shots, I mean … If you give me 37 shots in a game, I’d put up 60. Easy.”
