The National Hockey League is amping up to play its second outdoor game of the year. First, it was the 2014 Winter Classic. Now, we are getting ready for the first game in the Coors Light Stadium Series. Earlier today, the National Hockey League released the architectural rendering of the transformation of Dodger Stadium for the event.
There will be a regulation size rink located in the infield where the Los Angeles Kings and the Anaheim Ducks will battle it out on the ice.
The National Anthem will be sung by platinum recording artist Jordin Sparks at the stage located a home plate. This is the same stage where singer/songwriter John Ondrasik of the band Five for Fighting will perform during the second intermission.
In left field, there will be a beach volleyball court where local volleyball players will be playing throughout the event.
Last, but certainly not least, the stage in right field is where Rock Legends and 2014 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees KISS will perform during the pre-game festivities as well as he first intermission.

The game will take place on Saturday, June 25th at 9:30 p.m. ET (6:30 p.m. PT). You can watch the game on the NBC Sports Network in the United States. The game will be broadcast in Canada on RDS2 and CBC.
