On Tuesday night, the Eastern Michigan Eagles enjoyed their 10th win on the season as they upended the Western Michigan Broncos in a Mid-American Conference showdown, and they did it handily, 56-37.
Eastern Michigan dominated nearly all phases of the game on both the offensive and defensive sides of the court and were able to push their record to 2-1 in MAC play for the season.
But, nothing may have been more dominant in this one than what Eastern Michigan’s Glenn Bryant did to Western Michigan freshman Tucker Raymond.
Early on, right off the bat in the first quarter, Bryant wanted to make sure that the freshman Raymond had a nice warm welcome to big-time college basketball.
So when he came face-to-face with Raymond near the end of a fast break, he made sure that Western Michigan’s youngster knew what he was getting into by putting his face on a poster.
I’m sure that if Raymond was looking to become famous, this wasn’t what he had in mind, but it’s what he got from Bryant.
