Greg Oden dunks in Miami Heat regular-season debut (video)

Playing in a regular-season game for the first time since December of 2009, Miami Heat center Greg Oden threw down a couple of dunks against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night.

You can check out his first dunk below. Sure, it isn’t exactly a thing of beauty, but you must lack a soul if seeing Oden back on the basketball court doesn’t make you smile. (Well, that or you’re just a really bitter Portland Trail Blazers fan.)

Oden previously appeared for the Heat in a preseason game against the New Orleans Pelicans. He had a dunk in that game, too.

At the time of this post, the Miami-Washington game is just entering the fourth quarter. Oden has played eight minutes, recording two dunks and hitting two free throws for a total of six points. He’s also snagged a pair of rebounds.

However, the Wizards lead the Heat to the tune of 89-77. Check back in with us later for a recap of the game.
