New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount’s remarkable performance against the Indianapolis Colts last weekend has earned him the cover of Sports Illustrated.

In case you missed the game between the Patriots and the Colts, here are some of Blount’s highlights:
- Blount scores from a few yards out.
- Blount scores from a few yards out once again.
- Okay, this is getting repetitive.
- Blount argues with Tom Brady about the utility (or lack thereof) of existentialism.
Blount finished the game with a whopping 166 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 24 carries.
Of course, no post about a new Sports Illustrated cover is complete without referencing the infamous “cover jinx.” Despite the alleged “curse” being straight up false, superstitious people still cling to the idea that appearing on an SI cover is a harbinger of bad luck. If you’re a Patriots fan now concerned about this upcoming weekend’s game because of a freaking magazine cover, you need to grow up. I mean, it’s not like Blount made the cover of Madden or anything.
