It’s been a rough few months for Denver Nuggets sharpshooter, Danilo Gallinari.
After suffering a devastating ACL injury last season, Gallo has been on the mend – working out relentlessly in hopes of returning this season. But unfortunately, that may not be the case as the Italian-born Gallinari finaly admitted that he may not be able to come back this year.
Said Gallo, who added – I haven’t set a date for the comeback. It’s a decision we will take further on. Hypothesis to miss this season? Everything can happen. It’s an idea that passed through my mind. But then, maybe, I get back before”.
While Gallinari has never had an official timetable, early indications suggested that he could potentially be back in January. That return was pushed back to February and most recently it was suggested he possibly could return in March or April.
Of course, with only a handful of games remaining in the regular season for the Nuggets at that point, it’s questionable if you risk putting Gallinari out there instead of giving him the offseason to further his rehab.
