Houston Rockets’ guard James Harden scored 26 points, dished out seven assists, had two assists, two steals and broke a 100-100 tie on a jumper with 28 seconds to go, leading the Houston Rockets to a 103-100 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans’ at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana Wednesday night.

After a miss from Jason Smith (who made a block on Chandler Parsons you have to see and you can do that here) missed a jumper, Parsons made one of two free throws. On the other end, Pelicans’ guard Darius Miller missed a potential game-tying three at the horn.

Eric Gordon exploded for 35 points on 11-of-17 shooting and dished out six assists to lead the Pelicans. Anthony Davis had another big game, finishing with 24 points and seven rebounds.

Davis wasn’t the only former Kentucky Wildcat who had a big day – Terrence Jones added 25 points and eight rebounds. Parsons scored 17 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out four assists and Dwight Howard had 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The Rockets are now 26-14 while the Pelicans are 15-23.
