Spurs at Jazz final score: San Antonio holds off Utah 109-105
Tony Parker scored 25 points and dished out nine assists, helping the San Antonio Spurs hold off a second half rally to defeat the Utah Jazz 109-105 on Wednesday night at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
The Spurs were in control throughout the game, but the Jazz used a 19-7 run to cut a 14-point lead (that was 18 at one point in the second half) to two with just four seconds to play.
However, Marc Belinelli, who scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds calmly hit two free throws on the next possession to put the game on ice for the Spurs.
Kawhi Leonard added 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists, Tim Duncan had 15 points, eight rebounds and four assists and Manu Ginobili scored 13 points for the Spurs, who won their sixth straight game.
Enes Kanter came off of the bench to lead the Jazz with 25 points, 11 rebounds and two steals. Alec Burks poured 20 points, five rebounds and four assists, Derrick Favors had 19 points and 12 rebounds, Trey Burke had 17 points and 11 rebounds and veteran Richard Jefferson scored 15.
The Spurs are now 31-8 while the Jazz are 13-27.
