According to Bruce Feldman, James Franklin and the Penn State Nittany Lions took their second recruiting blow in as many days as three-star defensive back recruit Troy Vincent Jr. has flipped his commitment to the N.C. State Wolfpack.

The son of the former Philadelphia Eagles star from Rockville (MD.) gave his verbal commitment to Penn State back on May 1 of 2013, when Bill O’Brien was still the man in charge in Happy Valley.
Losing Vincent to Dave Doeren and the Wolfpack comes just 24 hours after the Nittany Lions lost their unquestioned prized recruit, DT Thomas Holley, who made a decision to head off to Gainesville to play for Will Muschamp and the Florida Gators.
Both of these decisions come at one of the worst times, as National Signing Day is three weeks away.
But, moves like these are expected whenever there is a coaching change, no matter who it is, even someone that has garnered such positive attention as Franklin has.
