The Arizona Wildcats are off to one of their best starts in the program’s history this season and much of that can be attributed to the fantastic performance thus far from their prized freshman, Aaron Gordon.
Gordon has been near dominant so far for coach Sean Miller and the Wildcats, averaging 12.2 points and 7.9 rebounds per game in his first season of collegiate action.
It could be that the kid is just a natural at the game of basketball to be this successful this early, or it could also be that he’s the oldest freshman in the history of the game–or at least Fox will tell you that.
In Thursday night’s game against the Arizona State Sun Devils, Fox showed a graphic on the television while Gordon was at the free throw line, a graphic that someone might want to call the Guinness Book of World Records about because he’s definitely the oldest human to ever compete on a college basketball floor.
Kudos to Gordon being able to move around the court as well as he does for someone his age.
