For any true Los Angeles Lakers fan, the last two years have been more than unbearable to witness.  Between the Lakers injury woes along with Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol descending from their glorious primes, this team has fallen on hard times for first time in years. 

However, the Los Angeles Lakers have always found a way to bounce back whether its through finding an intriguing prospect in the draft or acquiring an intellectually sound head coach who can lead their franchise to multiple championships. 

Although it may be difficult to look forward to the future for this crippled Lakers franchise, for a team that has established multiple successful dynasties and won 16 world championships, the Lakers are simply in state of stagnant hibernation that they will undoubtedly awake from sooner rather than later. 

With that in mind, here are the top five reasons for Lakers fans to remain optimistic despite their team’s recent failures.
