Arbitration: Rockies and Drew Stubbs come to terms.

Recently acquired outfielder Drew Stubbs will avoid arbitration with his new club, according to Joel Sherman.

The Colorado Rockies will pay Stubbs $4.1 million for 2014, which will be his first season with Colorado. Stubbs, who was primarily the right fielder for the Cleveland Indians in 2013, will likely platoon with Michael Cuddyer in Colorado.

In his only season with Cleveland, where he made $2.825 million, Stubbs played in 146 games, hitting .233/.305/.360.

With this deal with Stubbs, the Rockies have avoided arbitration with all four of their eligible players: Franklin Morales, Juan Nicasio, Wilton Lopez, and Drew Stubbs.
