The New York Yankees have taken another player off of the arbitration board in coming to terms with right handed reliever Shawn Kelley.
Joel Sherman reports that Kelley will receive $1.765 million in 2014 with $25,000 in incentives if he appears in 55 games. In his first year with the Yankees, 2013, Kelley earned $935,000. In that season, he pitched to a 4-2 record with a 4.39 ERA over 57 games. He will figure to be a set up man, depending on who the Yankees tab to close their games.
